Verbum collects minimal data to provide its service:
A random device identifier — generated on first launch, never tied to your name, email, or Apple ID. Used to save your streak and favorites across app launches.
Your streak and favorites — stored locally on your device and synced to our secure database so they persist if you reinstall.
Notification preferences — stored locally on your device only.
Verbum does not collect your name, email address, or any contact information. We do not collect your location, browsing or usage analytics, or any data for advertising purposes.
Verbum uses Supabase (supabase.com) to store word content and user data. Supabase is SOC 2 compliant. No data is sold or shared with any other third party.
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. Verbum does not see or store your payment information.
Verbum does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
